Souper Bowl of Caring
It has been 31 years since the nationwide Souper Bowl of Caring was founded and has since raised more than $10 million in cash and food for organizations that fight hunger. The Souper Bowl of Caring uses the energy of the Big Game and transforms it into a nationwide movement, inspiring our youth and others to give locally and make a collective impact on hunger. However, this year our Souper Bowl is going to look a little different. Even though our youth group members will not be at the door holding the soup pots, the pots will still be available in the vestibule to receive your donations the weekend of February 6th and 7th. Please be a part of this movement that is sharing God’s love with those in need. Your $1 donation in their soup pots is just the ticket to assist local families. Thank you on behalf of those who benefit from your kindness.

Morning mass will take place on Ash Wednesday at 8:30am.
Ashes will be distributed by using one cotton swab per person, to place on the forehead.
There will be no 4:00pm Prayer Service, or 7:00pm evening mass.
Instead, there will be a Eucharistic Adoration taking place after the 8:30am morning mass until 7:00pm. During this time, ashes will be distributed to anyone who comes to church.
The Ash Wednesday Collection will go to our Social Concerns Ministry. Please be as generous as your means will permit so that we may continue to help needy families in our area.
